History
Having long experience and deep knowledge of development and production of QWIP (Quantum Well Infrared Photodetectors) within Acreo AB, the major R&D company in Sweden with a focus on electronics and optics, the infrared QWIP detector department spun off into the independent IRnova AB March 2007.
The QWIP development and production within Acreo and IRnova has a rather long history with thousands of detectors produced and volume shipments of high quality products to major infrared module, system and camera manufacturers around the world.
